- My name is Sonya. I'm currently 35 years old. I have a son who is 12. When he was 10 along came the triplets talk about turn his world upside down. The triplets are Juanito, Miguelito, and Denise. When I was on hospital bedrest for the triplets, I asked the doctor about getting my tubes tied and he said he didn't want to in case something bad happened. That we had worked too hard to get there. The triplets were born on April 16, 2008 at 34 wks 3 days. Juanito and Denise stayed in the NICU 11 days and Miguelito 19 days. We were so busy taking care of three preemies that getting pregnant never crossed my mind. I knew I couldn't get pregnant without help anyway, so I wasn't worried. When I went back to work in August, I started having symptoms. I just decided that I was tired from all stress, work, etc. Finally in September I gave in and took an hpt and it was positive. When I went to the doctor, I found out that I was already 13 weeks along!! I had missed a whole trimester!! Anyway, that's how we got Yessi!! God really does have a sense of humor!!
